World Book Day
World Book Day Celebration 2017
Our World Book Day celebration started off with a wonderful assembly led by visiting author/illustrator, An Vrombaut. She read us a story about a princess and a dragon, and showed us some live illustrating!
Every class got to spend a session with An to see how she makes her books and how she has made some of her animations. We had lots of questions for her.
As always, every child and adult dressed up to celebrate World Book Day and the costumes, make up and props were fantastic! We also brought in our favourite books from home to share with our friends. We were very lucky to have some parents come in and read to us as well.
What a wonderful way to celebrate books, authors and reading!
