Prayer and Worship
Prayer and worship are a central part of the daily life of our school. We aim to provide opportunities for children's spiritual growth and development through participation in a variety of forms of worship and through experiencing different forms of prayer.
Masses, liturgies, assemblies and prayers all focus and energise those learning and working at our school with many opportunities to praise and celebrate together but to also be still and quiet when needed.
Prayer and worship are led by our head teacher, our chaplaincy lead, staff members, a range of adults from other settings and children from the faith teams, under the guidance of our parish priests who are regular visitors.
Participation in the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion are also important in the rhythm of worship at our school and Eucharistic Adoration is part of the older children’s experience.
