European Day of Languages
On Thursday 26th September the whole school celebrated European Day of Languages. We learnt that there are over 30 different languages spoken by the children at our school! It was a day of celebrating all of these languages and cultures. The children were encouraged to bring in items and share their knowledge with classmates which made for a very interesting day! In class there were a wide range of activities going on from singing, dancing and quizzes to traditional art work.
As well as all of the activities in class we were very lucky to have ‘The Paella Pan’ in school cooking for us. They brought their giant paella pans and each class had the chance to see the paella being made; to ask questions and then to have a taste. It was delicious!
