St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School

“I have called you by your name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

Welcome

Welcome to St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School, a school where children can grow in the love of God and one another, develop their talents, form lasting friendships and fulfill their potential.

Children enjoy an inspiring and well resourced environment in which they can develop through a wide ranging, comprehensive curriculum.

We are most fortunate in being very well supported by our parents, the Parish of St Thomas Aquinas and All Saints and the wider community.

We hope that this website helps you to gain a picture of life and work in our school and that it may inspire you and your children to get fully involved.

Our School

St. Thomas Aquinas School is part of the Bletchley Catholic Schools' Federation (BCSF) which is a joint partnership with Bishop Parker School. These two schools serve the parish of All Saints and St Thomas Aquinas.

Here at St. Thomas Aquinas each child is very special to us. We want your child to achieve success both academically, socially and to grow in the knowledge of the Catholic faith.

We want your child to feel happy and secure at our school. Staff will do all they can to achieve this. We want your child to become a confident person, an enthusiastic learner and to have fond memories of his/her time at St. Thomas Aquinas School. We welcome our partnership with you to achieve these aims.

We are confident that you will find our school website both inspiring and informative, but should you require more information please do not hesitate to contact us. We always strive to help.

Our school was established in 1967 as a primary school before becoming a combined school in 1972, serving children aged 4-12. In 2005 the school was converted back to a primary school and now caters for children aged between 4 and 11. It is a voluntary aided school belonging to the Diocese of Northampton and the parish of St. Thomas Aquinas in Bletchley and religious teaching in accordance with the Roman Catholic faith is given.

There is usually one class per year but when intake has been very large the children have been split into two equal classes.

At present there are approximately 270 children in school. We have ten lovely, bright classrooms, a well-stocked library, a state-of-the-art computer suite, a music room, a dining room, an outdoor play area for our foundation stage children, a beautiful courtyard, the secret garden (where we can go pond-dipping), and a big hall in which we hold assemblies and productions. We have two playgrounds and adventure play equipment outside in leafy surroundings.

Request for paper copies
