Maths Calculation Policies

Our maths calculation policies have been updated and adapted to suit from White Rose Maths. We found the White Rose Maths calculation policy works best for the needs of our children and suits the way in which we teach Maths, using the CPA (concrete, pictorial and abstract) method. The use of concrete resources and visuals underpins this calculation policy - allowing children to have a deeper understanding of the abstract or more formal methods of maths taught.
