Jesus, Shepherd of Children
During the lovely Leavers’ Mass on Friday, Fr Emmanuel shared a song which he had written for the Year 6 pupils. He encouraged us all to remember that we are truly loved by God, that each of us is special and unique and that when we are united, we become stronger.

CAFOD National Assembly
Children across the school tuned in to the ‘The Eyes of the World’ CAFOD National Assembly which highlighted the climate change crisis. This year, world leaders representing the United Nations will meet in the UK to discuss how to protect our planet and support the poorest people who are suffering because of climate change.
Every child coloured in the eyes of a mask to let the UK Government and other COP-26 leaders know that we are watching them to ensure they urgently tackle the climate emergency and make decisions to care for the needy communities who are being affected.
Quotes from two children –
‘If every school had an Eco-Committee then younger children would grow up understanding climate change’.
'We need to put ourselves in the shoes of the poorest communities and act based on this'.
