The Legion of Mary was founded in 1921 and has 4 million members worldwide across 170 countries. The founder was inspired by the teachings of St Louis Marie De Montfort – true devotion to Jesus through Mary who is the guide and model of Christian life.

Aims and Rationale:

• To glorify God through prayer and active works for others
• To learn more about the traditions of the Catholic faith
• To enrich their own prayer life and therefore become closer to God
• To form friendships with other Catholic children
