Going for Gold – Ice Skating
Our Going for Gold winners for the first half of spring term were treated to a fabulous trip to the ice rink. They had a very filling lunch before changing into their ice skates for a skating lesson. The children were taught how to get up safely if they should fall over, how to skate forwards and how to stay upright, all with the help of two qualified coaches and a few penguins! After the lesson, the children had a go at skating around the entire rink a few times and then it was back to school on the minibus.
