“I have called you by your name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

At St Thomas Aquinas school we recognise that all our pupils are unique and precious; our curriculum strives to develop the knowledge, skills and learning behaviours of each individual child so that all children can fulfil their God-given potential. Our mission statement drives us to ensure that the curriculum in inclusive, broad and well-sequenced to enable all children to make progress and achieve.

We offer an engaging and exciting curriculum which meets the requirements of the national curriculum as well as the Religious Education Curriculum Directory for Catholic schools and colleges in England and Wales for RE.

Children are taught a broad and balanced curriculum so that all children are given the chance to excel in arts and music, humanities, computing and sport as well as core learning in English, maths, science and RE. The curriculum also ensures that children develop as people – learning about themselves, our diverse community, healthy relationships, British values and Christian living. We offer a range of carefully planned trips, visitors and enrichment days to enthuse and inspire children and nurture a passion for learning.
