Advent
Advent Mass 2013
Father Prince came to school to celebrate the start of Advent with a lovely Mass. He blessed the wreaths which Mrs Walter and the children had made and he spoke to us all about keeping focussed while we wait for the special event of Christmas.
At the end of Mass each class took their wreath to place on their prayer table as a focus for prayers this Advent.
The First Reading was Ephesians 5: 6-14 and the Gospel was John 12: 44-50.
