The Big Draw
The STEAM Powered Big Draw Festival
October is the month of the annual Big Draw Festival and we have been celebrating this year’s theme: The STEAM Powered Big Draw Festival. This brings together Science, Technology, Art, Engineering and Maths. We have been exploring how drawing surrounds us in our everyday lives and how this fuses with other subjects. STEAM also “recalls our Industrial past and the fusion of creative innovation, enterprise and the arts.”
Amongst other really great activities, we had working circuits drawn with electrically conductive paint, photographic printing without a darkroom, explorations between art and nature and pendulum painting.
