Holy Spirit Day 2014
To celebrate the wonderful feast of Pentecost, we held a Holy Spirit Day in school where all lessons had a Spirit theme. The beautiful weather allowed the Bridgebuilder Trust to set up a prayer space in the Spanish Courtyard and the children from Years 5 and 6 were invited to spend quiet, reflective time focussing on the themes of feelings and forgiveness, uniqueness and talents. Some classes had the opportunity to do liturgical dance with Mrs Callaghan and all classes completed art work for our Come Holy Spirit art competition.
Pentecost is the birthday of the Christian Church so we celebrated with prayers and praise.
