World Book Day
World Book day 2016
As always, World Book Day was celebrated in style at St Thomas Aquinas School. Children and adults were dressed as characters from books and the thought that had gone into the costumes this year was second to none. In assembly, we got to see everyone dressed up and we got ready to welcome our visiting author: Julie Sykes. Each class got the opportunity to spend time with Julie and find out about her work. We also had lots of parents in school to read stories throughout the day. There was excitement in every class as the teachers had planned a range of fantastic activities based around books. A very enjoyable day was had by all.
