First Reconciliation – Lent 2026

Congratulations to 28 children from Year 3 who made their First Confession and received the wonderful mercy of Jesus for the first time. During a beautiful and calm liturgy, the children responded to the parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:3-7) knowing that they are each loved and treasured by God. Thank you, Fr Gerard and Fr Mark.

Sacramental Preparation 

28 children in Year 3 have joined our sacramental preparation club and are excited to be learning about the beautiful sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

This term, the children have completed some activities as they learn about God’s great mercy and forgiveness. They have learnt that we are a holy community who are asked to follow the rules of God. They heard the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) and know that God is our Forgiving Father. The children sang a song to remind them that Jesus is the Good Shepherd and that Zacchaeus changed his life when he met Jesus.
