Celebrations

Year 3 celebrated their First Holy Communion with a party in school that included cake, juice, music and dancing. The choir were invited too! The children were excited to receive their certificates and a gift.

“The sacraments are Jesus Christ’s presence in us so, it is important to go to confession and receive communion often.”   Pope Francis

Congratulations Year 3

Well done to our Year 3 children who received Jesus for the first time in Holy Communion. It was a wonderful Mass at All Saints Church where family, friends and staff celebrated the joyful Mass together. Fr Gerard was very impressed with the children’s responses, reading, engagement and singing.  The school choir made the occasion even more special with their beautiful singing.

‘May the love of Jesus always be in your heart.’

First Reconciliation

It was a wonderful evening as 31 of our Year 3 children made their First Reconciliation at St Thomas Aquinas Church.  Families gathered to sing and pray together as the children celebrated this beautiful sacrament for the first time. The scripture today was the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:3-7).  Thank you Fr Gerard, Fr Francis and Fr Mark for your support and prayers.
