Jairus' Daughter

This week our Guardians of Ancora session was about Jesus bringing Jairus’ daughter back to life as a sign that we all have a new life ahead of us. There was some good game play and a freeze-frame drama challenge. There was also the excitement of a film crew working with the Bridgebuilder Trust

Jesus Feeds a Crowd

Our week 2 topic was Jesus feeds a crowd (Matthew 14:13-21).

Our discussion question this week is: If you could ask Jesus to multiply anything, what would it be?

Centurion's Servant

This week, after the Guardians of Ancora had completed their quest, each group acted out the story of when Jesus healed the centurion’s servant. (Luke 7:1-10) This event reminds us of what amazing things can happen if we have faith in Jesus.

New Guardians

A new team of Guardians have enjoyed the after-school club with Luke from Bridgebuilder Trust.  All activities bring the Gospels to life with activities, quizzes and challenges. Using their tablets, the children have joined Jesus on a quest with the fishermen, have met Jairus and witnessed a miracle and discussed their faith with a roman centurion.
