In Reception, our homework is weekly reading and practising sight words which will be given to each child on a key ring. Encouraging your child to read with you each week and sharing favourite stories with them will encourage their joy of reading and help to develop their Literacy skills.

If you would like to follow up what they learn in school, it is best to do so through practical games and activities. There are also a number of websites where children can play games and reinforce their learning or print out activities which they may enjoy.
