Tree of Life 2011

This year we will be raising money for MoPSA who are supporting the building of the Tree of Life school in Nairobi in Kenya. On Shrove Tuesday 2011, Fr Ken Payne, chairman of MoPSA, and Mr. Cullen and Mr. Sang came into school to tell us about the work of the Missionaries of the Poor and about the needs of the people in Kenya. It is very exciting to be involved in a school building project from the very start. At the moment the land where the school is to be built is barren.

Each class will be doing activities to raise money for the appeal.

Years 2 and 3W sold pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. They made £120! Well done to everyone who helped.

Events include:

Thursday 17th March:

6P St. Patrick's Day Cake Sale at lunchtime. This raised £31.80. Well done 6P!
