St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School

“I have called you by your name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

2007 - St Thomas Aquinas's Sixties Shenanigans

To celebrate the school's fortieth birthday, this year's school production was a trip down memory lane. When Mrs. Basham was kidnapped by an interdimensional headteachernapper, there was only one person who was able to help the school. Dr. Who landed in school in his tardis and he took two pupils, Jessica and Luke, back to the 1960s to hunt down Mrs. Basham. The intrepid adventurers found her back in 1967 where she was celebrating the official opening of our school. On their way, the travelling trio met many teachers from the past and found out about the music and the funny languages spoken in the swinging 60s!

The production was a great success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the production. The children worked extremely hard and are very proud of their achievements. Each year performed a different act and there were some other songs performed along the way, as listed below. Click on the pictures below to see bigger versions of the images.
