Breakfast / After School Clubs

St. Thomas Aquinas After School Project (STAASP)

Breakfast Club

Research has shown that eating breakfast improves children’s problem solving abilities, their memory, concentration levels, visual perception and creative thinking.” (British Nutrition Foundation.)

St Thomas Aquinas School Breakfast Club is a great way start to the day! It provides a healthy nutritional breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, where pupils can meet friends and play under supervision. The Breakfast Club is open to all pupils and runs from 7.30 - 8.50am each morning.

After School Club

STAASP provides a place where children can relax and enjoy creative and stimulating activities in a friendly, disciplined and safe atmosphere.

The varied programme includes arts, sports, recreational and educational activities. A quiet area is set aside where children can read or complete their homework.

While your children are with us they are provided with juice and a light snack when they first arrive at the club.

A light tea is provided and menus are displayed on a weekly basis.

Children are supervised by professional experienced staff at all times during club hours until they are collected by their parents.
