Haiti 2010

On January 12, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. It caused destruction and devastation leaving thousands without water, food, shelter and sanitation.

The whole school community has pulled together and raised a staggering £1500 in just five days. Every child brought in money to wear MUFTI on Friday. Year 6OM raised money by organising a 'Guess How Many Sweets There Are In The Tub' competition and special mention must go to 6P who raised an amazing £700 through their sponsored silence on Thursday. Well done everyone! Thank you all for your support and generosity. The money has been sent to Haiti through MOPSA who support the work of the Missionaries of the Poor in Haiti.
