2009 - A Night on Broadway
Broadway met Bletchley in December 2009 when we performed ‘A Night on Broadway’. There was a magnificent turn out from parents, many of whom got into the swing of things by wearing evening gowns and dinner jackets. Each class performed a song and dance from a popular Broadway show and the audience was entertained by rock and roll dancing, some ABBA singalongs, the ever impressive Irish Dancers and a special guest performance by The Jersey Boys!
The show was a truly interactive experience as every night the audience got to vote on who they thought had given the best performance. The winning classes won Bletchley’s version of Broadway’s Tonys, the Tommys.
